“A photographer must possess and retain the
receptive faculties of a child who watches the world
for the first time.”- bILL bRANDT
Hey there! I’m Catie. Thanks for making it all the way over to my corner of the internet. I’m glad you’re here. Now, how did I get here? I first fell in love with photography when perusing my family scrapbook as an 8 year old. Even as a kid, I remember being shocked at how quickly time was passing. The scrapbook had a beautiful way of keep the old memories alive.
I LOVE THE WAY LOOKING BACK AT PHOTOGRAPHS CAN FEEL AS IF YOU’RE STILL THERE
20 years later, I’m a professional photographer who has photographed over 4,000 clients in Seattle. I’m a people person who values moments over things, and real connections over LinkedIn ones.
On an ideal day, you can find me editing in my local coffee shop, baking a new recipe, hiking in the mountains outside of Seattle, and playing tag with my rescue pup, Ollie.
I’m from Texas, but I love cold places. A few of my bucket list locations to shoot are Greenland, Patagonia, and Antarctica.
April Fools Day is my favorite holiday.
I play the Titanic Soundtrack when I can’t fall asleep.
When I was younger I wanted to be a Herpetologist, and raised all kinds of reptiles and amphibians (sorry, Mom.)
I love impersonating Stitch, ask me to at our session!
My second-mom growing up was a pivotal player in Texas’ animal rescue movement. Together we fostered over 400 animals.
My favorite cocktail is the Old Fashioned.
I’m obsessed with the smell of clean laundry.
MY AUTHENTIC PHOTOGRAPHY CAPTURES REAL MOMENTS
SO YOU CAN REMEMBER WHAT MATTERS
I photograph because I believe in the power of storytelling. Every picture taken captures a memory that can be shared for generations to come.
Photography has shown me how to see the world in a new way, and it is extremely gratifying to share my vision with others. I love the challenge of turning your moments, no matter how big or small, into beautiful and tangible memories.
